I know some of you might have tried registering at the alumni board (i.e. Forums) but there was a problem with the SMF platform (read this activation email post for particulars) so, like me, you probably did not receive your activation email.  Now, however, the problem has been fixed.  I was able to log in and make a post, and so could you.
