THINGS TO DO AND PREPARE FOR THE HOMECOMING

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

Just to keep you guys updated, here is a rundown of the THINGS YOU NEED TO PREPARE OR DO BEFORE THE UPCOMING ALUMNI HOMECOMING which will be held on DECEMBER 27, 2008 at the LIGAO GYMNASIUM:

  1. Order your shirt from Leah or from a contact person listed in this post.  You can find the shirt sizes and Leah’s information by reading this post.  You can coordinate with your batchmates and order in bulk or you can order your own shirt yourself.  It doesn’t much matter because there’s no discount for big orders (pity, he he he).  However, it’s urgent that you order  your shirt/s AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
  2. THOSE WHO WILL NOT ATTEND MAY STILL ORDER THEIR ALUMNI SHIRT. Note that this is not part of the fund raising activities; the cost of the shirt is exactly what the merchant charges a piece.

  3. Coordinate with your batchmates and create your own BATCH AVP (AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION). Here are the details, which can be read in this post:

    - presentation (max of 10 minutes)

-inform Ryan Redillas of Batch ‘98 of the chosen song for the AVP to avoid duplicates.

-submit AVP second week of December to Ryan Redillas of Batch ‘98 for consolidation.

    -Ryan’s email-ad - craitchey9(AT)yahoo(DOT)com

  4. Coordinate with your batchmates and prepare your BATCH PRESENTATION. The following are the details, as can be found in this post:

-any presentation will do be it a song number, dance number, etc. just make sure that it will be a group presentation.

    - max of 10 minutes per presentation.

*We are encouraging all batches to submit an AVP and prepare a batch presentation.  Of course aside from the ball that we’re all looking forward to, these two will actually be the highlight of the night.  These will also be the part of the program our former teachers are looking forward to.

  5. Coordinate with your batchmates and talk about food arrangements. The details, which can be found here, are as follows:

-the organizers will look for concessionaire to provide merienda in the morning.  If this is not possible, then it is recommended that each batch prepare its own merienda.

-as agreed, in the evening, every batch will prepare its own food to save on cost.  Just make it simple and just right to ‘fill up’ every member of your batch and your guests (e.g. former teachers).

-each batch can have their beers or their cocktails (comment: or your wine spritzers, he he) Just make sure na uda pasaway. (comment: define ‘stern admonition’)
