UPDATES:

Hi guys!  The following are some updates regarding the Alumni Homecoming:

• The Batch Audio-Video Presentation (AVP) should be 5-6 minutes long.

¹ Please inform Ryan Redillas of Batch ‘98 - email address is craitchey9(AT)yahoo(DOT)com - of the chosen song for the AVP to avoid duplicates.  Furthermore, please submit it this week for consolidation.

• The Batch Presentation should be 5-6 minutes long.

¹ It should be a group presentation and it can be anything.  Let your creativity shine!  Of course, please bring your own CDs/DVDs or props for the presentation.  Please contact Jose Borromoeo Jr. at mrjoeborj (at) yahoo (dot) com to find out about the available sound/light equipment for the event.

• You must order your shirts ASAP.

Text/email Judith Averilla (09066275499) or Leah Bagagnan (09165803635).  I’m still waiting for confirmation on the last day of ordering shirts.  You can order by yourself or you can coordinate with your batchmates so you can order your shirts together.  You must order your shirt based on your SHOULDER SIZE.  The following are the available options and sizes (they’re different from the initial release because we have changed shirt vendors).

WHITE

• XS = 17 inches shoulder size/length 18 inches man guiraray
• S = 18 inches shoulder size/length 19 inches man guiraray
• M = 19 inches shoulder size/length 20 inches man guiraray
• L = 20 inches shoulder size/length 21 inches man guiraray
• XL = 22.5 inches shoulder size/length

In other words, di na mag-worry kung naka-order na kamu, okay? 

GREEN

• S = 18 inches shoulder size/length
• M = 19 inches shoulder size/length
• L = 20 inches shoulder size/length
• XL = 22.5 inches shoulder size/length

HAD AN UPDATE FROM JUDITH AVERILLA:  WHITE SHIRT SIZES LANG PO ANG PAGPIPILIAN - HINDI YUNG GREEN.  THEREFORE, THERE ARE FIVE SHIRT SIZES WITH CORRESPONDING SHOULDER LENGTH.  PLEASE COORDINATE WITH JUDITH AT 09066275499 OR judai1218(at)yahoo(dot)com FOR YOUR SHIRT ORDERS.

Comment: Please don’t be too bothered about shirt sizes.  Ganito lang yan.  PILI KA LANG KUNG XS, S, M, L or XL SHIRT ka.  Kung usual ang XS shirt sa’yo, then you’re probably safe going with XS.  Kung parati S (small) ang shirts mo, malamang, kasya sa’yo small.

Choose your shirt din depende sa fit na gusto mo.  For instance, I am most comfortable in large shirts so even if my actual size is Small, I ordered the Medium shirt.  When I measured my shoulder size today, I found out that it’s going to be too big (XS would have been just body-fit, S would be just right and M would be “mahangin” ).  But I’m sticking to my order.  I’d rather be comfortable, he he he.  But that’s me.  You may prefer something else.

• A shirt costs P115.00.

• Shirt distribution will start on December 24, 2008 at Gina Maravillas’ residence.

That’s at Calzada, Ligao City (you can text or call Gina at 09182054979 for directions).

• You must prepare your batch’s food and drinks for the ball.

It doesn’t have to be extravagant.  Finger foods are fine - as long as they are satisfying.  Let the internet be your friend:  search for filling yet affordable food recipes.  Food-sharing among batches is strictly encouraged. :lol:  Drinks can be anything:  beer, wine, cocktails, softdrinks.  Futhermore, you can also bring your specialties (your special dishes) to the affair so that your batchmates and fellow alumni can enjoy them and show you their appreciation (by demolishing your offering, he he he).  Heck, you can even bring noche buena “leftovers” he he he (just make sure they are still edible, okay?).

• I’m still waiting for advisement on the arrangements regarding the food for the morning/merienda.

As things stand, it would be best if you and your batchmates plan for that, too.  Again, just a sandwich and a juice drink per person should be enough.  If there’s extra food, we’ll probably have some space in our tummies left over for that.

• Please come in casual/athletic/running gear in the morning so you will be comfortably attired for the Amazing Race.

• Please come in casual attire for the ball.

You can come in smart casual, casual smart, elegantly casual, casual chic, casual grunge, casual gown - is there such a thing??? - or casual whatever for the ball.  You can also come in a ball gown if you want; no one will raise an eyebrow.  Anything goes - the important thing is that we’ll all be together.  Just as long as you are comfortable in your getup, no one’s going to mind.  Kanya kanyang gimik and style ‘to.

• Based on the votes, we are planning to hold a virtual meetup (online group meeting) this Saturday afternoon.

I’m thinking 5 pm onwards and log-in when you are able para ma-accomodate lahat.  This is open to your comments and suggestions, of course.

DECEMBER 27 PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES: (NOTE SOME CHANGES IN THE SCHEDULE)

*AM

6:00 - 7:00 a.m. = Mass at St. Stephen Parish, Ligao City (the Ligao City Catholic Church)

7:00 - 10:00 a.m. = Gather at Ligao City Pavillion; Amazing Race (please be sure you’re properly attired)

10:00 - 10:30 a.m. =  Break/Merienda

10:30 - 12:00 nn =  General Assembly

LUNCH BREAK {BATCH MEMBERS SHOULD PROBABLY LUNCH TOGETHER AND PROCEED TO REHEARSALS, FOOD PREPARATION, ETC.}

7:00 - 8:00 p.m. = Registration for the Ball (Registration venue is at the Ligao Gymnasium)

8:00 - 10:00 p.m. = Program Proper

10:00 - 12:00 p.m. = The Actual Ball

5mins lang po kase due to time constraints. Pwede rin cguro 6mins max, so we’ll have at least 60mins (1hr) allotted to the presentations of the avps. Kase ganito yung plano: sa program, per batch, they will play the avp then next they will perform their group presentation. so if lets say, 5mins for the avps, about 5-6mins for the presentations plus about 2-3 mins of chit chat, total would be like 14-15mins. And we have 10 batches, that’s like 150mins for a total of plus minus 2hrs30mins. I guess pwede na to, but we’ll see.
