LOW TOXICITY AND FUN COCKTAILS
If you don’t want beer, hard liquor, plain wine, or softdrinks for the homecoming, you and your batchmates may try one of these low-toxicity fun cocktails. FYI: all of the following ‘recipes’ make only one serving.
Angel’s Kiss
- 1 & 1/2 oz Kahlua
- 1/2 0z heavy cream

In a cordial or pony glass (like that illustrated above), float the heavy cream on top of the Kahlua and serve.
Chicago Bomb
- 2 oz vanilla ice cream
- 1 tsp white creme de cacao
- 1 tsp green creme de menthe

In an old-fashioned or lowball glass like the above (that usually has a capacity of 6-8 oz), blend the ingredients until smooth.
These are just two of the cocktails I’ve seen in the book Atomic Bodyslams to Whiskey Zippers. By the way, if you’re going to make them, be sure to chill the glasses before using them.
Disclaimer: This is not an encouragement to drink alcoholic beverages during the alumni homecoming . Just wanted to inspire you to think of your food options; you can actually prepare great food and drinks on a budget just as long as you are imaginative.
That’s all for now. For violent reactions, please keep them to yourself, he he he.
If you want more, leave a comment.

FEATURES, ANYONE?
If you want to contribute a feature article about ANYTHING that is relevant to BRSHS, BRSHS ALumni Association, or BRSHS Alumni (that includes you, of course), please do so. Email me at jinkkyjinks(at)yahoo(dot)com. I’ll post it for you.
There’s no set format. I’m sorry if you have texted me about it. I don’t normally check my cellphone, I don’t usually bother buying load and I don’t usually reply to text messages if the sender did not give his/her name and his/her number is not in my phonebook (so no ID) - and unfortunately, I had to reset my phonebook quite recently… so you can see the situation I’m in.
That means, I barely open my cell phone or text anyone. It’s nothing personal, believe me, he he he. On the contrary, I always respond within 24 hours to emails.

IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING…
It has been a long time coming, indeed, but it’s finally here… (drum roll) the Bicol Regional Science High School Alumni Association (Applause)! Not only do we get incorporated (well, pending some TIN updates of course), but we are actually holding our first-ever Alumni Homecoming this December. See upper left portion of the window for the countdown, and please register if you haven’t already.
Kudos to Roger and his team of valiant (and overworked) alumni from all the batches. Special thanks to Tew for designing this website (and for hosting it as well, is that right?). And was it Ryan who paid for domain registration? Thank you!
